New visitor experience at Shaw House!

Today’s the day that we open the doors to our brand-new visitor experience at Shaw House!

We invite you to come and see the House as you’ve never seen it before with newly dressed rooms showcasing life from Tudor to Edwardian times. Along with our permanent exhibition telling the story of the House and our special exhibitions ‘Dressed for Battle’ and ‘Dressed for Shaw’.

Entry fees to the House will be applicable from today; £9 adults, £6 children and concessions, under 4s are free. We also offer a discounted rate for West Berkshire residents at £6.

The House, exhibition and grounds will be open every day until 30 September (excluding good Friday). You can check out our new seasonal opening times here. The house and garden improvements are being delivered with thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Visitors are also welcome to enjoy the gardens free of charge, the café and gift shop will also be open to all visitors selling homemade treats and local products.
